In his definition of empathy, Daniel H. Pink says Empathy is about standing in someone else’s shoes, feeling with his or her heart, seeing with his or her eyes. Not only is empathy hard to outsource and automate, but it makes the world a better place. The good-naturedness of empaths cannot be overemphasized. They are caring, thoughtful, compassionate and understanding. There are so many different types of empaths, and the most valued is A Heyoka Empath ( only a few persons are considered Heyoka Empaths)

Heyoka is a Native American term that means a “fool” or “sacred clown”. It is used to refer to someone who is an emotional mirror to those around them. An Heyoka Empath is someone who sees the world differently and acts in a way that is kind of strange. A Heyoka Empath can feel someone’s pain and helps by trying to heal the pain and hurt. Though he does this help using an unconventional approach.

In Tibetan Buddhism, a Heyoka Empath would be referred to as someone with crazy wisdom. The term crazy wisdom describes a path which is hardly followed, and rarely accepted by many, but suitable for the one who follows it. Most Heyoka Empaths, are usually seen as negative people, in real sense they are not, they only have different ways to the things of life.

Heyoka Empaths, who has crazy wisdom, is seen as one who does not take life seriously.

The path they take seems as if it heads nowhere.

However, as casual as it looks, they usually have a strong faith and belief in it, and most times, it often turns out good for them.

Heyokas show empathy using unconventional means.

When they sense something wrong, they say it jocularly or playfully.

They also use tactical methods to brings people’s attention to the fact that their mindset is restricted.

Of course, this is a bold step, because, in their way of addressing an issue, no matter how playful they sound, they always hit a sensitive spot, and pass an important message across.

To them, being compassionate and kind involves making a person wake-up to reality and shaking off the scales that have blinded the eyes of many, making them follow the ‘rut’ that society has set.

Have Strong Faith.

Even while others see the impossibilities, in it, he will dive into it and walk into the unknown, with the mindset that whatever comes out of it, he is ready to face it and it is all a part of destiny and a learning process.

Heyoka Empaths Consider Nothing In Life Is Permanent.

So they do not take life “so hard”. They believe that whatever happens in life, whether positive or negative there is always a lesson to be learnt, and they are still ready to learn from every experience.

Subconsciously, Heyoka Empaths Act As A Trigger For Change.

They encourage people to look deep down and address their hurts, wounds and pain, which they usually are not aware of. Heyokas easily detect people’s faults, insecurities, pain and the facade they put up. They can bring people’s attention to this and make them address it.

They Talk Unconventionally, And Their Ways Are Different From The Regular.

They sometimes do not talk in plain terms but tricks or riddles to pass their points. This makes the person have a deep thought and go and analyze what they said, which is true.
